I have a buddy who ordered a Charger and once he got his VIN # he was able to use a link to the Chrylser website to see the status of the truck. This was provided in the Charger Forum...

Anyone know anything about this at all for RAM's????

 

Called Chrysler and gave my Vin3....and... It is built and ready for shipment on the 8th of December. I can't wait any longer...

 

I hear you... mine is built as well and is "estimated" to ship tomorrow, 12/5, but the dealer told me not to get too excited till he gets confirmation that it is on the truck... he does seem to think that it'll show up next week though. I've already ordered some floor liners and they are set to show up tomorrow...

On another note - did anyone have any issues with their VIN coming up as invalid with their insurance company? I tried to both copy/paste and manually type out the number into the online form for USAA, and it kept giving me an error and telling me to check the number, make sure I didn't type a 1 where it should be a lowercase L, or vice versa, etc. Haven't been able to get it to work yet.

no trouble with my VIN either, state farm pulled it up and sent my insurance card over on friday.

 

Since my order is suppose to be shipped on Tuesday should i contact the insurance company with my vin #

 

When did you guys order? I placed mine last week of November and they are saying beginning to mid February....this sound right? Ive ordered before and it hasnt taken that long

 

Until you take ownership, the insurance company can give you a quote,the effective date of your policy for that vehicle won't be until you're driving away with it.The truck might not be delivered on tuesday, it could be wednesday.Enjoy your long awaited purchase, when I got my truck, I could'nt wait for them to give it back after they detailed it lol lol.
