Default Increase stock rims and tires question

I have a 2009 Dodge 2500 4x4. I think the stock wheels look small. I need advice on filling up the wheel well. I do not do any offroading. I want something larger but I would prefer not to lose any smoothness in on road driving. Basically I'm looking for looks. Does anyone have advice on the size rims and tires that would meet my needs? Thanks in advance.

20 Inch with about a 34 inch overall diameter. That is slightly larger than the tires on a 1500 sport.

I had a 1500 2wd with 22 wheels and 33 inch tires; looked badass.

Thanks for the advice. Bad *** is definitely the look i'm shooting for. Have been doing a little research and it backs up what you are saying. 20" rims are definitely looking like the way to go.

you can fit stock 20"s with bfg all terrains in 285/65/20!! thats about as big as you can go without problems on stock rims.

i believe that is close to 34.5 diam..
