Default Leveling questions

I have a new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 2 Wheel Drive 4.7 liter and I have been trying to find a leveling kit. I'm not an expert in automotives but what I figure out from forums and the Web. Heres my Issues Nobody makes a Smart Strut leveling kit (yet). Everyone has the coil spring spacer which some say it affects ride quality and some say not, also the same goes for having to replace the front shocks with a 2 inch spacer. My question to anyone with the knowledge is? What is the difference in design that makes it where no one makes a Smart Strut Spacer but a coil spring spacer. What I have under my truck even though its a 2 wheel drive looks like the SST system would work. I'm confused on what to do and salesman really dont seem to have a clue. If anyone could explain this to me I would appreciate it. THANK YOU

Default Daystar Leveling Kit

Daystar makes a leveling kit (spacer) for us 2WD guys. You can get it delivered from Summit for just under $50, part# DYS-KC09103BK. I should be putting mine on next month while on R&R and will add some pics. Another member used the same kit and added pics a couple of weeks ago.

If the 2wd trucks have the same coil over shock system that us 4wd trucks have, I can attest that the strut extensions do not affect ride quality that I could tell. I have not put one on my 2009 but I had them on my 2006 and I noticed nothing different. No matter what though, make sure you get an alignment after you install spacers. There are too many reasons why you should to even list here. BTW, if you are still abroad, be safe over there. I am on my way for my 4th trip around March.

It is a coil over shock system I have checked several times in my frustration over the last month trying to figure out why no one makes a strut extension. When I called all of the vendors trying to find an SST they said all they have was a coil spacer but with the 2 inch spacer that I would have to get new shocks.
