Removing the badges

I just think the RAM should be a tad smaller everything else can stay

I've always used a small guage welding wire for the emblems and my fingers for the gooey stuff! Its a lil' rough on the hands but it works! Followed by a wipe down and a coat of wax.

Just curious... Why do some Ram 1500s only have a "Ram" badge and why do some not have a model badge?

09-10 no 1500. 11 has 1500.

It's what the damn thing is made for (it's commonly called a "pinstripe eraser". Literally takes seconds to remove residue, old pinstripes, vinyl decals and is the single best way to remove tar or tree sap from a vehicle.

Cost is all of about $12 online (about $25 at the local auto parts store) and the $1 arbor makes it work in a standard rechargeable drill.

I have a DIY in the 3rd Gen FAQ section on how to debadge using one...

it works! ^ even have made some money debadging for friends since it is so quick and efficient.
