just to weigh in....I have the diablo tune on mine..in Michigan. Set to 89 octane tune. Has been flawless so far--runs smooth as silk, and accelerates and shifts TONS better than stock, which was kind of a joke to me how it was de-tuned from factory.

How? They only have and 87 and 93 tune for the 09, at least as of a week ago. Or are you talking about your other Mopar?

This is why our MPGs have dropped over the past couple months.

It could even be a similar issue reported on their site where if the rev limiter is raised (custom tune) it will not shift (yet another bug).

Now that I have the stock tune on the truck I notice the truck shifts much better now. Do not get me wrong, with the DS heavy to full throttle the shifts are much better than stock, MUCH better. But under low acceleration the DS shifts almost seem like it has a hole or hesitation during the shift.

After such a glowing review I am sure I killed my resale on this site.... BUt $280 (free ship) is my price, which will save you about $50 over new. This includes the unit and comm cable to the computer. It is fully updated with the latest CROM and tunes. Of course this also works on 3rd GENs and does get good reviews with them.
Just to let you know...you have been my mentor on this forum simply because of knowing you most likely have been through this with (tuning) your other vehicles. That being said...I've been waiting for Diablo to get the shift pressure incorporated into their tune before purchasing one. I think shift pressure is more important than the shift points and that they need to address this. Is there a shift pressure tune yet... because I haven't heard anyone mention this yet? To me (IMO), it would be useless to purchase any tuner without it because that is what bothers me the most in our trucks. The shift points are too soft for my liking whether you change them or not without being able to increase the shift pressure. As for your tuner, I would would hang on to it. I personally do not think that anyone will get their tuner any more perfect than each others. Second, who ever comes out with the shift pressure adjustments first should get the best credit whether it's Diablo or Super Chips. Good luck with your gorgeous truck and your tunes...hope it works out for you so it'll work out for everyone else, Merry Xmas! (a trophy for your vehicles and a tree for all)
