just to weigh in....I have the diablo tune on mine..in Michigan. Set to 89 octane tune. Has been flawless so far--runs smooth as silk, and accelerates and shifts TONS better than stock, which was kind of a joke to me how it was de-tuned from factory.

How? They only have and 87 and 93 tune for the 09, at least as of a week ago. Or are you talking about your other Mopar?

The 87 may be a little richer mix. That may help, but either way, fuel mixture or something else in the tune causing the issue.... I am done. It would after a few seconds kick in and take of like a bat out of hell, but at what cost?? It would not shock me if it was the fuel mix. Engines need to run richer when the air temp is cold. This is why our MPGs have dropped over the past couple months.
It could even be a similar issue reported on their site where if the rev limiter is raised (custom tune) it will not shift (yet another bug).
Now that I have the stock tune on the truck I notice the truck shifts much better now. Do not get me wrong, with the DS heavy to full throttle the shifts are much better than stock, MUCH better. But under low acceleration the DS shifts almost seem like it has a hole or hesitation during the shift.
After such a glowing review I am sure I killed my resale on this site.... BUt $280 (free ship) is my price, which will save you about $50 over new. This includes the unit and comm cable to the computer. It is fully updated with the latest CROM and tunes. Of course this also works on 3rd GENs and does get good reviews with them.
