I'd be leary of the mounting tab to the fender. If you look at the previous gen trucks, this was always breaking off the tube due to the way the engine torques left and right.

Yea.. that was a concern I noticed too. I think it may be softened by the silicone 90 coupler they are using....?

Anyway, I was curious if anyone had this or not. I will not be getting this and will definitely go with the Mopar unit for reasons I'll explain better later.

However, I hear TOO many guys on here saying "$400", for some tube and a filter". That cracks me up but now they won't say..."Okay we have a $65 part plus shipping and its a piece o crap", Not that this unit is of course.

I got saved by having a $400 Mopar CAI on my SRT-4 instead of an aftermarket "other brand" unit after it snorkeled some water. The ONLY reason my engine was replaced was because it was a dealer provided part. I was very much told I was lucky to have had the Mopar on it or the insurance would NOT have covered it. Mopar for the win! Go figure.

Why pay 20-40K for a truck and put a pos $100 unwarrantied tube into your vehicle.

It wasn't the dealer or any warranty that bailed me out, although it helped that they new what was happening. In my situation it was the insurance appraiser who told me my luck was that the issue came from a dealer approved/factory backed part from Mopar. Had it been AEM directly or K&N it would not have been covered under my insurance for road hazards. The other parts would have been "incidental loss due to aftermarket performance parts" not covered under my policy. Since the MOPAR CAN be offered and installed at time of purchase it is considered OEM add-ons which are covered, it was also street legal.

In summary, my MOPAR CAI I paid about $400 for, saved me $5,500 after my $500 deductible. They installed a brand new engine after I hydrolocked the first one. (I guess if I look at it a different way - My $400 CAI also cost me another $500 becuase it sucked up water....LOL. But in defense the rain was unusually deep when it occured)
