Question Blower Motor question

When I turn the blower on high....it sounds like it's blowing like a tornado....but the air coming out the vents, no matter whether it's the defrost, heater or panel, the volume isn't anything close to the sound or any other vehicle I have owned.

Is it just my truck....or have some of you experienced the same issue?

I haven't seen that one before. Maybe your blend door is stuck.

2009...I doubt it's a blend door issue.
Sounds like your "issue" is exactly what my truck has always done...Meaning it's normal!
The fan screams like a ****....but seems like a medium setting breeze out of the vents.
Solution....close a few vents so the airflow is more directed. it's a big cab and the ducting is large. My guess is the fan echoes through the venting and has all to do to keep up with pushing the volume of air through the vents.

Got an appt at the stealer tomorrow.....I sure hope you are wrong and there's a blockage somewhere!
I'll let you guys all know what I find out!

Angry

Went to stealer yesterday.....here's what the work order says "diagnostics found HVAC system working properly. No codes in system. Checked calibrationn and it is OK. R&R blower motor to check for any obstructions. Checked all vent tubes. No blockage. Found all ductwork is connected properly. Compared to new truck on lot and found operation same. No repair performed. Operating normally"

So it appers that my first Dodge ever owned has THE crappiest (POS) blower motor I have ever witnessed! And I ain't happy!
