There was an RRT for it a while back. Had to get mine fixed. That might be the problem.

How long are you driving? It takes mine awhile to change when its cold. At times it takes 10-15minutes of driving for it to adjust. I had the RRT done. On short trips of less than 10 minutes, mine may not adjust to current temp.

After 2 tries my dealer told me that's just the way they are. I say BS. I've got an ear thermometer for my kids that will give me an instant reading in just seconds. My GM trucks always had instant reading outside temperature indicators and don't get me started on the MPG indicator...

This is the most unuseful outside temp display I've ever had in a vehicle. It takes 15 minutes to read the current temp. It's an issue on the new Ram as my wife's Caravan and my old '06 Ram never had this issue. I've already had the "fix" done and there's no improvement.

I saw on another thread where someone mentioned the temp sensor is of low grade, it does'nt help, but it pretty much told me how reliable it's not gonna be.........................Kevin.

I had mine flashed a couple of months ago, along with the rear parking sensors. Mine is working fine now.

As soon as I turn the key on it displays the previous temp reading and then it goes to the correct temp within 10 seconds.

Prior to the flashing, it would take 15 minutes or more before the temp was displayed correctly.
