Then you must have the EVIC version. Scroll through your options and get the Fuel Economy screen on the EVIC. Will have your avg MPGs, DTE, ect. When you drive and the MDS kicks in, looks like ECO should show up between the compass and temerature at the top. Page 227 of your manual (on the dvd or download).

 

nope... the only thing i get in the fuel menu is if i want to reset it or not.. some say they can hear it when the engine goes from 8 to 4 cyls but i have never heard it... maybe my truck just doesn't have it..?

 

you have to go to this thru your evic menu. this is under the system setup. but you can only get to this if you car is in PARK. if the car is running the system setup will be locked.

 

the setup options i have are the same as in the manual on page 241.. starts with language, goes through the locks, lights, HSA, and remote start comfort sys.. but that's it..

 

If you have a Hemi, then you have the MDS. So it's in there somewhere.

 

i have the hemi.. if someone thinks they can walk me through it over the phone then pm me and i'll give them my number.. but i looked and can't find it.. do you have to have a certain flash before it will show up? i asked about it the other day when i took it in for it's first oil change and the service guy looked at me with the dear in the headlights look...

 

STV, you do not have the light, you can stop your search. You were probably a month to soon on build date to get it. The light showed up around the March time frame 09.

 

This thread was for the 2010 which is what I thought he had. I must be blind to of missed that one. So I stand corrected if he has an early build 09.

 

I have the ST 2009 hemi 4x4 and the dealer told me that I have the MDS, just don't have it show up on the little display...my display is not at all like all your displays, all I have is the odometer, and outside temp, A and B...tire gauge, cruise, but no ECO or Light....wish I had the Light though, been doing higway travelling and did notice between the 4 an the8 cyl, "BUT".....?

I was reading this post and was hoping for a better ending till 94rt10Ohio killed it.
