Default Fuel Saver Light

Hi guys, first of all i would like to thank each and everyone here for there support to each other. i would also like to greet everyone a merry christmas. specially to all my brothers in arms that is spending their holidays overseas.

ive been trying to figure out if my truck is capable of having this fuel saver light on. i tried searching the site but no definite answer. i went to the dealer yesterday and they said that the tsb 18-019-09 update is not for my truck.

my truck is a 2010 hemi slt. it was manufactured in sept 08 2009. my gear ratio is 3.55.

thanks for your help guys.

All 10s (Hemi) with an EVIC would have it. But I think I saw somewhere it does not say "Fuel Saver"

It will say "ECO" when in fuel saver mode at the top of the EVIC.

One thing you can try.... On the 09 you can enable/disable the fuel saver light within the setup of the EVIC.

It's all in the owner's manual which should be on the DVD/CD. The location depends on which cluster you have. Some is at the top where the compass is located, some in the odometer area. Again, all stated in the Owner's Manual.

Odometer/Trip Odometer Button/ECO (Fuel Saver Indicator) Button

Press this button to toggle between the odometer display, trip odometer display or the “ECO” display. Holding the button in resets the trip odometer reading when in trip mode.
If equipped with this version (below), you will have the option to turn it off and on in the EVIC when in the "System Setup" mode. (the shifter must be in park or it will show locked)

Display Fuel Saver — If Equipped

The “Fuel Saver Mode” message is located in the Compass/Temperature display, this message can be turned on or off. To make your selection, press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until “ON” or “OFF” appears.
