Too funny - I found his name on another forum and had already emailed him after seeing your post...

How do you like the remote on that unit? I was a little unclear on their manual - if you use the remote start to start, you HAVE to use the remote start button to unlock the car?

Oh man I remember that in northern Manitoba one year for Christmas, was 40 below, and we drove a 79 chevy impala with no plug in. Man that car impressed the hell outta me. Not even fuel injected yet every morning, well actually waited till afternoon so it would be warmer, it would start.
We went to Dauphin to do some shopping, at Canadian tire all the cars in the parking lot were running and not even locked. When in Rome! Man that was cold but still 15 minutes is not even good for your truck to sit and run and yet every morning my wife does it. I asked her is it warm when you get in. She says HOT. So I say how about save the planet and some frikken money and don't start it so soon.
