Watch this video http://www.etrailer.com/tv-demo-audi...or-ASH400.aspx, I think you just need to press the button on the part that plugs into the cigar lighters/power outlet in the cab. Let me know if that fixes it.

Default Success.

Guys...used a shaved down wooden match...and reset the RF reciever to the hitch mounted sensors...works really well...light flashes as the beeps change speed and intensity.. Should be a cool addition.

Ok try these instructions .
* Programming: (Fig. B)
To program your receiver
, or an additional or replacement receiver to the sensing unit, the vehicle must be in reverse gear and the ignition switch turned on with the parking brake set. Using a toothpick, or similar non-metal "probe", insert it into programming port and press and hold for at least 5 seconds, then release. Upon releasing the reprogramming button, you will hear one long confirmation chirp. After reprogramming, test the system by slowly backing toward a large object that will be detected in each zone. If you still experience problems, call: (800) 225-6074.

I am so glad that someone else bought the step parking sensors cuz I wanted them but don't like the look of the ones in the bumper, now this just looks like a step, I think I would tap into the wires under the truck though so it does not look so easy to steal. I like the idea it doubles as a step for most people, but I have noticed that people driving pickups are most often over the limit oh well too bad for them LOL. I think I will get one then. Good thread.

Where is the 2 prong 12 V outlet. If you are thinking about the one on the dash on the passenger side that is 120V not 12 If you want to blow a fuse at minimum you could do what youwanted or possibly see fire. That is like a plug in your house that you can plug a very small appliance like a laptop or small tv or something like that, I don't know the specs but I do know it's well over 12 v
