Default deezee 5" nerf bars
hi all i just had my passenger side nerf bar pull threw the sheetmetal and come off the truck when i stepped on it anyone else ever have this happen

there are no washers used the bolt kit supplied with the bars

That would suck. I think I would be contacting DeeZee and sending them pics, and find out what THEY are going to do to fix this problem. Sounds like a very POOR engineering design.

Yikes I have the same bars and am a little skeptical about the mushrooming anchor system they use also....though I'd assume the mopar part must be the same???

Just had the Back Country ones installed on mine I like them but I think I'll go check on the mounting.

Wow - that looks like it is going to be tough to fix. I would not be looking forward to that call if I worked at the manufacturer.
