The only reason I lean to warranty for this, is because, technically it would be warranty, as it is not a bulb... It would technically be wiring, as it is just a diode(that emits light), and if it stops working, it should be covered. I'd imagine it's soldered to a circuit board, therefore, not the easiest thing to replace...
