I don't know about you, but I bought mine from Dodge when it was still Dodge. No way in hell I am acklowledging that I drive a Fiat.

 

Dodge will remain Dodge,
there arent gonna be any name changes.

Fiat will be using Chrysler as a way to sell their cars and technology in the states, thats it.

Ram is its own brand.. im not a fan of that idea....but it is what it is

 

The alternative may have been no more Ram. Dodge/Chysler is still struggling. I doubt FIAT will mess with the truck engineering. They will bring there small car technology to the US market.

 

I also bought mine before the "new" Chrysler was born, and after it was sold by the Germans.

I have one fo those rare 4th gen Dodge Rams. The new ones are just Ram Did they remove "Dodge" off the rear emblem on the 2010?

 

By the way....

Under the terms of the agreement with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York, Fiat will now own a 20% equity stake in the new company, which will grow to a 35% stake if certain milestones are achieved. Fiat cannot own a majority stake until all taxpayer funds are returned.

I heard that the "old Chrylser" may default on money owed to the government (bail out money), so to me that would mean they will not get majority control.

 

They can shove the Fiat badge.

But I do like the RAM brand. Much better than Dodge. I associate Dodge with ****e-otas. Unfortunately, they'll be coming too, but hopefully they will improve or be killed off.

As far as I can see, the little plastic tray at the top of the center console and the tailgate emblem are the only vestiges of Dodge on my truck anyway.

My truck was manufactured in a dodge plant by dodge employees before Fiat crossed the ocean.

Fiat wont be changing the trucks anyway, they are trying to expand their small car business in America. If it wasnt for them, there would be no dodge
