happens under 1500 rpm. did it today on the freeway. kind of like a vibration noise. its down low when u lug the engine. i have the 3.21 so prolly easier to do but i did it on 4.7 with 3.55 when i had it as a rental for a 1.5 months.

I've noticed a low frequency growling and vibration at low rpms just driving around town at <50 mph myself. Seems to occur mostly right after the tranny upshifts inder low or no acceleration load; I've not yet gotten the rpm range though, but will try next time out. I haven't had it on the highway yet at speed except on the test drive (only had her a week), but did not notice the same.

Yup, this happens to me also usually at low RPM going up an incline without down shifting so the engine is under slight load. I have the Hemi with 3.55s.

Had it out on the interstate today but could not get the growl/vibration to happen. Cruised for awhile @ 65 mph and ~1600-1700 rpm and then varied speed/rpm combinations. I too have the hemi, 5 speed auto trans and 3.55 rearend.

I recently started noticing this noise. I notice it wen accelerating from a dead stop and accelerating in turns at low rpms.

I called my contact at the dealer and he has had no reports of this issue, Not sure Im to concerned about it just yet but I will have them look at it when I have it in again.

I have it at 1500 rpm. Sounds like a metallic rattle, maybe like a heat shield vibration. Anyways I fixed mine myself after going to the dealer 3 times. I have a Nov. Build Crew Cab Sport Hemi with the 3.55 rear axle. It was making the noise at 1500rpm under light acceleration. With MDS on or off.

I noticed the rubber hanger for the exhaust pipe located under the front passenger seat was slid rearward to the end of its pegs. There are 2 rubber hangers along the passenger side that hold the exhaust pipe close to the frame, one under the front passenger seat and one about where the cab and bed meet. My front rubber isolator was sliding back and allowing a vibration. I used a zip tie at first to hold the rubber hanger to the front of the pegs (farthest towards the engine). I drove it for several days and no sound. Took the zip tie off and the sound was back. The deal put 2 rubber hangers on and its fixed.

Also, for those early build with no MDS light. My dash cluster was flickering occasionally and they replaced it, now I have the light. So cool.
