I agree with ya it has been a cold f*ckin winter here in Alberta that week of -55 was killer i used up the 2 start limit a couple times and its frustrating having to go reset it ... I'm sorry but if it is -55 my truck can run all it wants the transmission doesnt even get warm at all in those temps

What I'd like to find is a way to expand the range of the factory remote start.

I keep reading about the poor range so I did a test. From a good +200' away, through a block wall from inside a locker room, metal all around, my truck starts no problem. The only issue I have seen is that if you hit the button 2 times too fast, it doesn't always work. So I just hit it slowly and add a 3rd push, no issues. My range is better than a coworkers GM.

With a 1-way ya never know if it starts.
One touch 2-way let's ya know, instantly.

Yes, I agree. Maybe next year.

Gm hasn't had 2 way that long as some seem to suggest.
