Default Finally got my OEM NAV unit!!!

Ok so after much consideration I decided to spend the money and go with the OEM navigation on my 09 Ram...i had the MYGIG with all the goodies, (camera, uconnect, 30gb HDD) just wanted the navi and wanted to keep all the steering wheel controls and all that stuff. So i found the Navi unit online for 1600 and sold my unit for 500 to a buddy...so 1100 isnt too bad for the unit that i got. Long story short i was told that i would have to have my truck computer flashed or something in order for the unit to work....well i installed it on my lunch break today with the lockpick and it works flawlessly, so no need to spend the 100 some bucks the dealership was going to charge for 30-45 minutes of work, instead i kept my 0930 appt. tomorrw and will get my 5000 mile oil change done...haha

the install was simple plug and play....the GPS antenna goes on top of the speed gauge cluster...theres even a small square spot on there for it.....any body that can turn a screwdriver can do this....Hope this helps anyone that was thinking about doing this
swap.....

Just FYI....it seems to take a couple weeks to get the unit (brand new) must be in a high demand....

Can you post some pics please. I was debating about going with an aftermarket Pioneer but want to keep the clean install and the flow of the stock unit. I may just do this upgrade. Please show us where you mounted the antenna and the radio pics. thanks
