Well, it looks like the Fox box only comes as a 2-10" setup, so I assume it fills both the spot where the stock sub is and the other side that is for storage. I don't want that.

Does anybody know of something that is simply a drop-in replacement for the stock sub?

 

When I was looking at Fox Acoustics in October, there were a lot of boxes available for 09's. I have a QC and there was a box for a single 12 that went where the alpine box is. It said it will fit a JL 12W6 so that is my plan when he gets caught up.

 

Cool. A single JL 12 would be plenty for me, I think. I had a JL Stealth box in my last truck that just had one 10W0 in it and that was fine by me.

 

so is there any box made for the 09 that can fit 2 12's i want to add something with a lot of bass i have 2 tens kickers but they dont hit like i would wont to

 

Ebay has some.... just do a search... if you sell your box with the tens PM me... seriously.

 

A JL 12W6 with a 500.1 has lots of bass... I am going with this instead of 2 12's as I will have more storage room with 1 12. the boxes with 2 12's that I have seen have less air space as they split it up between the 2 sides. would probably have to make something custom to get enough space for 2 higher end subs.

I have heard a single 12W7 with 1000W amp which is crazy in a truck (custom box and the guy took the back seats out, put in 2 buckets and the 12W7 between them)

Also heard a single 12W6 with a 600W amp in an FJ. This was still very loud.. blows away the 2 12W1's I had in my car
