Default Tailgate Rust Update.

Thought I'd share this. I decided to try something out. I bought a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, washed the truck and tried one for fun. Rust is gone for now and no damage to paint. Didn't take long either. I'll get it waxed tomorrow and see how long it lasts.

I'd be careful with the Magic erasers, because I think they are slightly abrasive. The clay treatment is a much safer bet and is proven to not damage your clearcoat.

It is particles on top of the paint that is rusting. How is the chryslers fault?

There is already another thread for this issue. This one should be closed/combined with the other one.
