Can anyone tell me if the horn honk (2 times) can be disabled for the factory remote start feature and still be able to have the horn honk when the doors are locked? I like the horn to honk to alert me that the doors are locked, but I hate remote starting at 5:00 in the morning when the truck is right outside my neighbor's window.

its in the evic setup menu...you can turn the honk off for starting and leave it on for locking the doors just like you want. Thats how I have mine setup

you should be able to on your 08 ram. i disabled it on my 06 and my 09. you can choose if you want doors to lock or if you want your headlights to flash. pretty customizable. heck these trucks when you hold the unlock button in the summer your windows will roll down till you let the button go. heated seats come on or even your ac will come on pending on temperature.
