I'll be honest man. I had a 3rd Gen before this and now my 4th Gen. I LOVED my old truck... never a problem. I think after a few of the "kinks" are worked out this truck will be great for a long time to come as well. Just a little pissed that mine wasn't identified with the RRT as needing the fix.

Luckiy I've been taking mine in for service (they gave me coupons for like 10 free oil changes) and theve been taking care of RRT's when they do the service.

I don't think you guys understand. The RRT's are released for certain VIN numbers. Mine was not on the list for this RRT. I'm trying to give everyone fair warning that the RRT's that your truck requires might not match up. I've had several RRT's done and when I called about this fix she looked to make sure they didn't miss it. When she looked it up, my truck was not listed as needing this fix.

lol... no kidding... I lived in Oregon for a while... I'll check and get back to 'ya on it. But I bought the truck in May of 09.... so probably a pretty early build date.

09 Sport. Ordered and delivered in March 09. Went through the car wash last week and my daughter pointed out the water leaking on her and the rear seat. This was on the passenger side. I have bot SAT radio and SAT TV.

This was the first time the truck has leaked. I have had a "billion" cars... really more new cars than a normal person should have and this was the first time I have ever had a water leak.

As I stated, I ordered my truck and did so with everything but the sunroof because I did not want the chance of water leaks.... go figure...

I have a great dealer so I will call them with my VIN and see what they say.

Called dealer and I have no recalls and five RRT's. Couple software updates, rear spoiler (this is probably the 2way tape) and reseal the third brake light.

I would imagine that resealing the third break light is the cure for the water leak.

It's the 3rd brake light. I took mine in for an oil change and they asked if it was leaking. I said no but, they still added RTV to the back side of the light and reinstalled it. I'll be pissed if it starts leaking now. Oh and I asked what happens if I have to change out the 3rd brake light bulb. I was worried about it not coming off. Looks like you'll have to seal it up every time you take the light off. Kind of a bandaid if you ask me. They should have made a new gasket to install. Not a glob of RTV...

Thumbs down

I can't believe I am reading this. I currently own an '08 and am in the middle of a lemon law case due to the rear window leaking repeatedly (4 repairs, 31 days in shop). Been browsing the 4th gen forums cause I'm thinking about giving Dodge another try. Window leaks seem to be a very common problem for them, hope yours gets sorted out. Think I'll be taking my money elsewhere.
