I have a 2 wheel drive, I am looking for replacement tires that will wear long. I have previous experience with Michelins that are great + Very expensive. I had Bridgestones on my silverado the wore well, probably would have lasted 40K +/- but are also expensive. I want a highway tread as I drive 100-200 miles per day. What about Generals?? Thanks
I put the Generals on mine and so far they have been great. Much better wet and snow traction than the Goodyears and after 15K miles they seem to be wearing pretty well.

Agreed. I've had a few Goodyear tires on other vehicles, and they never failed to disappoint. Conversely, Michelin's never failed to impress.

I've had good luck with both Michelin and Bridgestone as well, I am currently running Dueler Alenza's, great tire, I've got 20K on them and they look like they'll do another 20K. The wet traction on them is great, snow traction could be a little better. I've had the Michelins on my Durango and they wore well, ran through two sets about 35-40K per set and I replace early. Every Goodyear tire I've ever had has been crap.
