I havn't read anything about the truck not starting after the installation. Guess I better check with the dealership first. Not sure who makes the remote start, I was told it had to be shipped from the manufacturer. Just ordered the u-connect module with iPod cable only to realize they have to reconfigure the front control module. They said they would flash both the u-connect and the remote start for one LOW price of $99.00. The service manager never said anything about the truck not starting though.
