Question on 4th Gen SPORT models
I wanted the quad cab because my dealer had a killer deal on them. I sat in the back of both and quickly realized that my two boys who will be teens next year would love my more if I bought the crew. And really, five-six or six foot isn't a big deal. You still need to put the tailgate down either way to haul a sheet of plywood, or have it up on either tailgate. Going to an eight foot box is where the big differance is.
The Sport at my dealer has a painted grill, I see no option checked for it. Oh, and I am in Canada, so maybe yotaman is right?

I would get the CC not worth not spending the extra, you get the in floor storage, plus you never hear whining about kids being uncomfortable. My son is 6 feet he likes it back there.
You can get the grill painted its in there somewhere as an option I think I saw it on the US built it site. I do it for fun build the same truck here and there and see the price diff or diff in options.

That is a cheap one. some have more adjustments and tie downs etc.
QC is what sold me on the Dodge. Most of the time, that back seat will be empty or possibly loaded with groceries. I use the box a LOT and 5'7" just doesn't cut it. Check out the other dealers, Ford and GM. You can't get anything comparable to the QC setup. They all make crew cabs, but with the short box. A long box crewcab becomes a freighter to navigate in the city. Backwards opening doors on the club cabs trap your passengers in the back seat until you can let them out. And just try to get a grocery cart in position to unload it if there's another car parked nearby. While it is my personal preference, to me, the proportions of the QC are more "balanced" than any crewcab; there seems to be just the right amount of truck and the right amount of box. The CC box just seems too little.
Ultimately, sales figures will dictate which layout becomes predominate, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ford or GM come up with something like the Dodge QC.
I'll be watching!

I have had crew and quad cabs, 3 quad cabs in all now. Personal preference here but I would never get another truck with such a small bed, still have the storage rack from when I had the crew that goes into the trailer hitch cause we never could get all the camping gear or atv and gear all loaded into the bed of the crew.
Quad cabs definitely look better in my opinion. They are way more balanced looking and don't have a tiny box. Crew cabs are only practical if you are going to be carrying adult passengers in the back a lot. If you're not..... then no way is that worth the extra money or having a little box. It IS a truck after all.... not a passenger car. Quad cab all the way for me.
<---- would fit nicely in a quad cab.
Not true, my inserts are chrome.
I am very happy with the Quad, we don't have kids and the only thing that goes in the back seat is fishing gear. The Dog always rides in the 2009 Mitsu Outlander.
