The max I have gotten in has been a little over 28 gallons. I certainly would not run it dry as mentioned above due to the fuel cooling the pump. Unless you don't mind changing out your fuel pump from it burning up.

Default 32 Gallon gas tank

The sticker on my truck said it had a 32 gallon tank and every time i run it low, i am only able to put 26-27 gallons in it. Made me wonder too.

like the other guy said .. put a 5 gal tank of gas in the back and drive until it sputters .. then add 5 gal, and make it to a gas station quick .. you would be able to add another 26+ gallons easy if you hit a gas station quick.
My concern is,they did a smoke test and said i have a crack on top of the TANK!The dealer wants a lot to replace it, where can i buy a 32 gallon tank for my 2009 Laramie at a reasonable price?????I can do the LABOR,Thanks,GEO
