Default Alarm light in gauge cluster.

Does the oem alarm light tell you if the alarm was set off? In the manual it says once locked/armed it flashes rapidly for 15 seconds then flashes slowly until disarmed... well just a half hour ago I went out to the truck, unlocked it and jumped in as usual. The alarm light was flashing at me then stayed on solid until I put the key in, I've never seen or noticed this before?

hmmm, that's really odd... try rolling your window down, getting out, close door, arm system... you should see the light flash for about 30 seconds... once the flashing slows/stops, reach inside, manually unlock the door, and open the door... does the alarm go off? If not, and your truck apparently has alarm system, i would go see the dealer...
