Default Hard Wire

I was wondering if anyone had found a good 12v under the steering wheel to tap into for your radar? And what the color combo is thanks.

I tried a few wires for ACC's but had strange things happen. I finally ran a small aftermarket fuse/acc box under the dash from the battery. Now I have 12 12v taps to add things on. These trucks dont play nice when you + or - the voltage in the can-bus system.

12v for the cigrette lighter would be you best bet, and use the one only active with the key, like it has been said other wires are monitored for spikes etc, and causes problems in the communications for the computer system.

Hmmm... Was not aware of this issue, glad I read some info first !!

I have the Express without any overhead console or power mirror, no center console so as the OP asked, is there a good switched lead under the dash easy to get to??
