Default Lights-To Soon

My lights, in the Auto position, when it's gets cloudy outside, in the daytime, come on. I would rather they came on a little later when it got a little darker. Is there an adjustment for this?

I know I can turn to the off position. I like the automatic feature tho.
Thanks,
Jack

I know what you mean about this, but I've never found any way to adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor.

What is the problem running lights in the dusk? It's a horrible thing to have people able to see you easier?

Here in Canada, mine NEED to be on all the time, it's just my tail lights that work on the auto feature.....

When it gets cloudy my lights are constantly turning on and off, like the sensor cant decide if its dark enough to have them on. Very annoying and I'm sure bothersome to other drivers as my headlights are constantly being turned on and off.

Looks like you just need to stick to manual operation. Mine are not that sensitive though. Like the won't turn off until after a little bit after I drive back into the sun...

Set your gauge lights to high fixed postion, so they won't suto dim when headlights turn on...then at night adjust interior lights from high postion...its what I do

Funny my son was driving around with just the daytime running lights and the marker lights on for a year he did not realize he had to go one more click to actually make the headlights come on. Funny they were plenty bright enough, I was in his car with him, he does not have auto lights but I saw him turn lights on. We were on a road that is fairly dark and he did not hit the hibeams as I would have but, really didn't need to. Well since we discovered this little mistake, it was a thread in hear that made us look, because he told me there was one more setting but it was for full time high beams he told me. I said that makes not sense. He argued, I felt strong enough and strong enough about it to get out there and have a look, right away I knew what he was doing. So I turned the highbeams off, then told him to turn his headlights on. He only went as far as the marker lights and because the drlights are running off at a lower brightness from the low beam lights. So I told him to watch ahead I pulled it that one more click and wow like the high beams went on. We argued I said look no blue light on the dash. I made him look it up in the book then he finally went aha. So now he is driving around with his headlights on at night like he should be LOL. Funny people complaining the hlites are not bright enough.

mine do the same thing, very sensitive in auto, on/off and such. not only that, i wish my auto rearview mirror was more sensitive- seems like i'm always getting blinded by cars behind me at night. how does one fix this? i'm planning on asking the service manager next time i'm in.
