Heater blower noisy
Searched around and havent found anything.
My '10 crew cab with auto temp has a pretty loud blower motor, in auto the blower motor seems to always be on around mid speed and its pretty loud, no squeak or click like a bad motor but you can hear it. If I put the blower in the lower two speeds manually or higher speeds you dont hear it (just the 'air' noise on higher speed).
Just wonder if its somewhat normal on these, its not super annoying, but usually I dont hear the blower motors on ATC cars after the temp stabilizes inside.

On low its fairly quiet, but it is one of the louder blower motors I have heard. There is some kind of insulation around the lower part of the heater box so someone at Dodge thought so as well.
If its not only me then I wont get too worried about, its not really that loud on the pass side, but from the drivers seat it really stands out.

I'm glad someone else has noticed this, mine is actually so loud I find myself turning the radio up to drown out the HVAC noise. My noise is there at all speeds, I think it may be the fan that draws air in for the automatic temp sensor but I'm not sure.
I also hear the same type of noise, mostly when I have the temp at a lower setting. It also sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. So I feel a little relived that I'm not the only one, I guess it must be normal.
thank God i'm not the only 1, hitting the dashboard with force several times wondering what that sounds is.
