Default ESP/BAG and traction light on

Well just got my truck back from the dealer last week they replaced the brake booster due to it making a creaking sound, now im noticing ever once in a while my ESP/BAG and traction light comes on and doesnt shut off until I turn the vehicle off. Yesterday I noticed also my cruise control is not activating, it shows it being on but it wont set itself. Im starting to regret buying this truck.

Wow give them a chance to fix it before you go deciding how good or bad they are. Maybe you outta buy a quality Toyota and have them arrogant bastards wait 6 months before they are basically forced to do a recall because somebody went over and finally forced their hand. Now they are forcibly recalling the Prius for brake problems. and you have a few lights on and your cruise doesn't work...Easy fixes just make an appt. and take it in. At least when you go into a dealership even for an oil change they check to see if there are any RRT's or TSB's and they take care of them right there in the oil change bay or worse they have to take it in the garage for an hour. I am there anyway, bring it up to date while I am there.

The cruise control won't activate if the ESP/BAS light or traction control light is on. It's a safety feature.

Easy fix for the dealer, they replaced the brake booster and didn't get any codes during the test drive. (and skipped the calibration)

Recalibrating the secondary brake switch should fix this, Error code P0703 (Brake Switch B Input Circuit) is most likely stored in the PCM

I agree with giving the dealer a chance to fix the issues. I disagree with you on Toyota being "arrogant bastards". Had a 2006 Tacoma 4x4 that I really liked until it was totaled in a head on. I came out unhurt. Dodge had transmission issues in the mid 90's, never addressed it, firestone put out some blow out tires, Ford had the Pinto and more recently gas tank explosion problems in their police cars. Seem any big company can have quality control issues.

And chevy had millions of pickups with gas tanks that blew up when hit too. They are arrogant ,transmission problems are a far cry from gas pedals that stick and brakes that don't work. So your tranny locks into 2nd gear. If I had to pick one of the 3 while driving, I would go with the trans....isnt that what would happen to the dodge trans?
My son was in an accident almost head on in our 08Sebring and he didn't get hurt, car was totalled, air bag did not deploy but you could see the exact places designed to cave to take the power of the accident instead of you.
All the companies had issues with heated seats..google it. Even VW. German quality.
I agree all companies are can have quality control issues but I really think this truck has hit the nail on the head as far as that goes. It has a few stupid little quirks but other than that it rocks. We need to get the service part working in conjunction with vehicles will help to make your ownership experience better.
