Huh?
Seems like the first post where you are talking about 1 hr fort the truck and then waiting 20 minutes after you called Chrysler the 2nd time for a call=back was complaining about the wait.

As for the Huh you can't assume that you are going to get roadside service anytime anywhere. If you can get ahold of them and they happen to be able to get to you that's great but you're effectively on your own and need to be prepared for it. It's your life and your truck, but an apparently able bodies man waiting around for an hour and 20 minutes for someone else to change his tire just seems weird.

But, good luck to you and hopefully the second week with your new truck is more pleasant.

No that is an incorrect assumption I wasn't complaining about the time at all but no big deal. If anything I felt the lady wasn't trying very hard only spending 20 minutes trying to find another tow truck before telling me to pound sand.

Update:

1. The towing company called apologizing up down and sidways and has agreed to cover the damage.

2. Chrysler roadside called apologizing up down and sideways and is all over the towing company.

3. My tire is toast there was a puncture and they said its too big to patch, right through the tread e.g. not a sidewall thing. Checked my Goodyear warranty...not covered. In a way its good news, if the tire had just broken a bead I'd be concerned about all the tires.

4. I backed into 20 inches of hard packed snow and got stuck this morning in 4 wheel drive. I turned traction control off, let the big bad Hemi breath a little and she bitch slapped the snow bank bad with only 3 good tires (have you seen the tread on the spare its a slick) awesome!

Bummer about the tire, might want to look at this as an opportunity to replace them all with a better all season tire if you regularly drive in the snow. Tough pill to swallow with brand new tires, but you can get road hazard on the replacements.

My wife has always had a talent for putting impossibly large holes in her tires. I pulled a 5" lag bolt out of one of them a few years ago.

We think alike, first thought in my head was buy 4 new tires but this was like Bob's tire shop, tiny little place with about 3 bays and not much inventory. Most of the shops I called are closed due to the snow. I just had them order the tire in, should be ready this afternoon.

5" lag bolt damn! I have not had a flat tire in 31 years.

Unlike evryone else on here, I'll speak my mind.....Its a blizzard, you get a flat, chances are your going to have to wait a couple of hours for assistance....do the job yourself. Reading the book is a lazy *** excuse...when you take your jack from under the passenger seat, it shows you a detailed picture of exactly where to place your jack. Your fault for the agrevation buddy, your fault the truck got a little dent.
I love my truck , sort of speak, I wouldn't let a tow truck driver touch it, remember he's a driver not a mechanic, all you know he may be from the next door scrap yard working to make an extra buck. I am not bashing tow truck drivers as most do know what they are there for. I am bashing the original poster for not changing his flat tire and decided to wait a couple of hrs in a blizzard, agruing on the phone with some biatch who just got seperated from her husband who was cheeting with her sister.
Oh yah, good luck with Chrysler, let us know how it turns out...:0

Exclamation

I have not even looked at where my jack goes on this truck I just assumed every other vehicle I have had the jack points were on the body except all my pickups because I always have a trolley jack in the back. Way easier. Godster has it all wrapped up.

Anyway good luck you will be buying a tire, as far as the tread splitting only took little over 2 years for same tires but 17 inch on my Durango and nobody covered the dry rot, not the dealer and not Goodyear so don't rest too easy knowing it was something you ran over.

I don't know you, didn't mean to get personal I tried to put some humor when I mentioned the devorce thing but hey, I was pissed, I read the tread about the crushed Ram....I couldn't get in a good mood after that.

Forgive me?
