Do I have a 32 gallon tank? How can I tell?
My truck is supposed to have a 32 gallon tank. I was down to about 1/4 tank this morning and filled up for the first time, it only took 20 gallons. does this sound about right?
My window sticker is full of errors. I had the dealer confirm the tank was 32 gallons before I purchased it, the tech said, "I looked and its the 6 foot long tank" whatever that means. If he had checked the part number I probably wouldn't be trying to confirm this. This is the same tech who said there was no way to swap quad headlights for duals, that the truck would have to be rewired. I found out that was wrong also.
Here are the options listed for my truck on the Dodge web site, those below with the red dots were actually on the truck but missing from the window sticker. The quad headlights were both missing from the window sticker and the truck. There were other options missing from the sticker also.

Maybe they put your tank in my truck, I dont see anywhere that mine has a 32 but I filled it up when the low fuel light came on and it took 28 gallons.
So either the gas station pump is off or I have the bigger tank.

Coolage, in response to your question,if you do the math, your tank should be a 32 Gallon tank.
When my tank was on empty, I filled it up and still had 20 ltrs in the tank +- 4 gallons
32 galons devided in 4 = 8gallons per quarter....
At 1/4 you put in 20 gallons, 1/4 left in tank =28 plus the 4 below the E line 4 = 32....
Only other way to tell is run till empty, fill it up and voilla.....
