Roletide,

Where did you find the information on those lifts? I can see that there are two different part numbers so they have to be different. My truck is not a TRX so that would have to mean the dealer is confusing the 3 inch lift with the 4 inch lift. I would need the 4 inch. If they try to install the 3 inch TRX lift they would probably run into issues fitting the 37 inch tires I'd imagine.

If you could send me the links that would be great. Thank you for your time.

The dealer is also telling me that the lift kit for 2010 just came out like a week or two ago. Are they B.S.'ing me and just going to throw on a 2009 kit or is there a legit new 2010 kit available?

that mopar information came from Leeparts.com, with that said they are made by superlift as you can see where dodge disclaims manufacture of parts. They are essentially the same kits but the TRX has a few different set of parts which I don't know, I'd imagine the base set up is the same 4" kit, superlift states there kit fits both trucks (4") but you need to buy a seperate kit for the TRX (used for the front)if you go the spacer route, from what I understand you put this in and of course it will raise all other non trxs 4" but when used on the TRX you only get a 3" lift, you could imagine that if you went to dodge bought their 4 " lift kit and installed on you TRX and measured, you'd be pretty pissed that you only got 3", the tires specs, backspacing, etc on both kits are the same after application, buying the TRX probably gives you extra parts for the front (i think spacers), go on ebay and search mopar lift kit, there is one (for non TRX) for sale right now for 1599, I want to pull the trigger but I just bought the bakflip F1, wheel to wheel side steps, and a new Adams A30s golfbag/clubs, the wife is cool but not that cool especially when shes not working right now, and the kids bdays are coming and pending vacation, I save it for later, I really only want a 2" lift but am not cool the the aftermarket kits and I'm worried about the warranty coverage from dodge on the powertrain in regards to these non mopar kits. On the superlift kits you can get the strut tower in on piece per side so you don't have to mess with the strut assembly, from the mopar pics there are no strut assemblies, so I am guessing they use the spacer kit in the front which requires the add. parts for the TRX, which in turn makes it a different kit, regardless the TRX is more money, so why buy it if you don't need to, have a good one, hope this helps.

BS, unless she's doesnt have a clue, or again confusing the new 2010 set up for the 1500 with say the 2500/3500 series trucks, 2009 and 2010 1500s are esentially the same, rating is up on the 2010 but from what i understand they down played the 2009 tow/payload ratings.
