2010 Ram Mopar Lift
I'm waiting for my truck to arrive and the dealer just called me and said that there is now a Mopar lift available for the 2010 Ram. I was told that its a "3 inch suspension lift that looks like a 4 inch" and it will allow for up to 37 inch tires. Does anyone have any information on the release of this kit? Maybe a website or link? Better yet, anyone work at a dealership that can shed some light on this?
I don't think it's a different kit, i spoke with dodge at the accessories dept and they showed me the same kit for 2009 about 4 months ago. She told me it was a 3" but lifts like a 4" and can fit 37's. I'd rather buy the 4" from superlift.
there may be some confusion to what model is being lifted, I know the stock TRX sits higher than other stock trucks, so when the 4 inch lift is applied it only lifts the truck 3", but sits the same as a say laramie does with the same lift but the laramie is actually lifted 4", hope this helps.
Nope, the lady looked up my truck in the system (Lonestar 4x4) and said it's a 3" lift for my truck, which looks like a 4" and can fit 37's.
I asked her if it was a body lift, cause I haven't heard of a 3" being a normal suspension lift other than a 4"/6". She corrected me on the spot and said it was a 3" suspension which was the same exact kit on the truck on the showroom floor.
But I understand what you're saying, TRX/TRX4 have a standard higher stand and the 3" would give them a total of 4" lift +/-
But it is a 3" lift, what happens is that there are additional pieces for the TRX to fit the kit properly which balances it's self out, so whether it's a TRX or not, it's still the same kit - 3"

I know you can get this kit for 09-10 trucks from Dodge now http://www.koreraceshop.com/KORE-Pre...-1500-4x4.aspx

Parts was closed and my Buddy is not answering his phone. I know there is a leveling kit along with a 4 inch kit from mopar. This new kit was one he told me about and said it would be in house this past Jan. What dealer did you go to?
I wouldn't listen to what the lady told you, half the time these folks don't know what the F78k they are talking about, go to the superlift site, it will explain it to you, they are the ones that make the lift. My experience with the parts folks at dodge has been spotty. My dad went down in Dec. to buy a electric locking kit for the tailgate lock on the 09, they flat out told him it was not made for the truck, they looked in their computers, the parts manager was summoned same result, my dad left went home and got on the computer pulled up the part #, pic, etc, called them back, well now they were able to locate, but it had to be ordered, a little while later they called my dad back, oh guess what we have that in stock, so believe me just b/c shes telling you something don't believe its the gospel. And I'm only referring to the Mopar/superlift kit, there is a 3" and 5" body lift kit out there.

From their website:
The Superlift 4" and 6" Dodge DS lift systems received a Chrysler Design Award at the 2009 SEMA show, the automotive aftermarket industry’s largest event.
TRX4 Model - Both Superlift’s 4" and 6" systems will fit Dodge’s TRX4. Some additional Superlift components are needed if using the strut spacer lift version (see Application Chart for details). Note that the TRX4 factory ride height is approximately 1" taller than the standard DS, so you will gain 1" less lift than stated. When lifted, the standard DS and the TRX4 ride height is the same.
