My truck came with the "chrome accent" package and I wondered why it came with alloy wheels. After looking for months to find a set of affordable chrome clads with little luck. I bought these instead, the trucks finally looks finished.

What do you guys think...

 

Looks good! Are those plated factory rims?

I can't believe they didn't include some kind of chrome wheels with the package. That is plain dumb.

 

yeah I agree my 04 had the chrome package hemi slt, it came with chrome clad which I was suspect at first but after 5 years, I would look at aluminum polished and most showed the age/brake dust damage and my chrome clad still looked as good as the day they came off the lot, washed once a week and after a year I went to ceramic/kevlar brake pads.

 

Very nice truck, but chrome isn't my thing. I only like just enough to accent the truck and not chrome any and everything I can by for it.

 

yes they are, they are "perma-chromed". The only psrt of the Chrome package I dont like is the gas cap. Im looking for a inferno red gas cap to replace it.

 

If you like it good. Mine came with the alloy 20 inchers and I like mine better. To each there own.

 

What kind of rims are those? OE?
Are they one piece aluminum or Chrome clad it's hard to tell from the pics?

Well having a Sport version and little chrome except wheels and running boards and badges that will be coming off soon from the doors... the RAM is just too gawdy for me so I won't give an opinion about how I think you truck looks. I will say to each his own, your money you buy what you want.

 

They are OEM factory 20" wheels. they were perma-chrome plated no cladding. I bought them off Ebay.

 

WOW!!!!!!, that looks really good from what they were,I would have kept mine if they looked like that, mine came silver painted,if we can get that done ,cheaply, it will sell a lot of perma-chrome........
