Default Flowmaster Muffler Help

Ok, so I want to put Flowmaster Mufflers on my new Ram when it gets here. My old truck has true dual flowmasters but I can't remember which ones were put on 6 years ago. I love the way it sounds, maybe I can get under my truck and it will still be visable on the muffler? I want to have the loudest Flowmaster I can that is street legal. The guy at the truck shop said I should get a Super 44. Anyone have any opinion or experience with Flowmaster and know which one is best? Anyone use Delta Force 40 series? Are those street legal? I live in Virginia if that helps.

I have a 40 series on my truck with the one in and duel out and it is very loud with a good tone....now if you just want to go with extremly loud then cherry bomb recently came out with a single chamber kind of like the flowmaster but much louder

I have a super 40 on mine and love it! Was going to put the 50 HD series on but not loud enough. They can definitely here yah when you are coming or going with the super 40. Hope this helps.

Did you leave the resonators on or take them off?

Take them off. It sounds alot better. I looked at alot of the flow master mufflers and talked to there tech guys and listened to some of the videos and by far liked the super 40. You can talk on your cell phone and have a conversation in the cab and there is barely any drone.

did yall just replace the muffler and the rest of the tail pipe is still on? i want to put the muffler on and dump it right in front of the rear wheel. i think that would make a differance in how loud it is in the cab.

I removed the resonators and kept the dual stock tips too. Sounds awesome!
