I have been watching their forum on it. Look for the thread on the 09 Ram. The Cortex for the 09 F150 shows huge gains for the 93 tune. Not sure if Dodge has that much to give since Ford's factory tuning is pretty lethargic on the F150's, all years, but I plan to give it a try when available.

Hypertech is available but dont have any info on it. I have had their programmer on other cars and it worked well

Yeah I've heard hypertech is pretty good. Always make what they claim. I'm after that torque management control and higher shift points superchips has.

dumb question: what do the superchips actually do for you?

Edit: I mean, I know that they add horses and you can adjust gear shifting, yada, yada, yada...

But without any physical upgrades to your ram, how do you increase horse power? Does it just send more gas to the cylinders? Also, can't messing around with the calibrations of your truck possibly reduce it's life. I would also assume it would void the warranty.

I am a DIY guy and do most of work to my car, but I'm not an engineer. Aren't these trucks already programmed to minmize wear and extened the life of the truck?
