anyone make a power antenna that goes up and down when the radio is powered on and off ?

i go thru an auto car wash and the guy said that the machines sometimes tear off the new ram antenna's.

Default Have a wrench?

I get out and remove the antenna before the wash. And then screw it back in after the wash. Seems to work for me.

Same problem here... I can't find one that is 'touch free' that my truck will fit in. They all have too low of clearance.

TSK TSK going thru car washes, don't you have any hand car wash places in your area. They are sorta expensive but if you want to do it yourself the spray car washes are not busy when its that cold you will not get flack for using a bucket and mitt. Just go around the truck and keep it warm with the soap setting...only one that is warm water. Anyway after a while the water wont freeze the metal will pick up the heat and you can start washing. Usually takes 10 bucks to get it done. If your quick you can dry it before it freezes. Whatever you do, be sure to dry the jambs and rubbers. Then go home for a hot coffee with a shot of rye in it.
