Default Cruise control

Rant = ON

I hate that **** ant little cruise control arm. I use it all the time but seldom use the EVIC buttons or the radio control buttons on the steering wheel.

I wonder if I could switch some wires around and have the steering wheel buttons operate the cruise control.?????????????????

Rant = OFF

I feel you pain, but with another item. I keep turning on my windshield wipers when trying to turn on/off my lights.
I guess eventually, after 30 times, I should have changed my habit.

I never has a problem with lights. I have owned Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks, lights always been on the dash, at least the ones I had.

The CC arm is a pain though. Sometimes when I try to turn it on I push and it does not push in all the way and I have to do it again. Once on setting, decel and accel is not an issue. It is just getting it turned on.

I have to agree it's like that phone number someone gives you that is not easy to remember and you don't have a pen or anything. LOL I am used to it and I rarely drive it.

I hate that little cruise lever because it bumps my right knee when turning sometimes, I really wish these had telescopic steering. Wheel is too close to the dash for a 6'4" thin person IMO.

don't mind the cruise control thing except i wish it was stationary on the stationary part of the column instead rather then moving with the wheel itself

I miss the CC on my 08, the controls were on the steering wheel. I'm having a hard time getting use to the control arm cruise.

While I liked the steering wheel CC position on my 05 truck better, I use the EVIC more than the CC buttons so prefer the way they have it set up in the 09. My 03 Neon has the CC in the exact same place. No issues with it hitting my leg in either vehicle.
