Default bumper adjustment

My front bumper is uneven!! Its about .75 inch lower on one side from the upper fascia, pointed it out to dealer and of course he said they were even. After showing him a couple times he admitted it was lower, but just said that was normal! One other truck had this problem out of all the others they had on display, I dont believe this is "normal". It may seem a bit trivial but its a brand new truck and im weird about things being even. Anyone have this issue or know how to adjust the front bumper?

Mine was like that on a 2003 Dakota, I fixed it myself so I knew it would be straight, my daughter who was like 12 helped me.

Easy enough to straighten. There are only 2 bolts per side holding it on (why they didn't use the top ones I don't know) The holes are slotted and the bumper can move quite a bit. When I put my tow hooks on I had to go back and straighten the bumper since I hadn't noticed that it had dropped on one side when I had the nuts off.

This is on a chrome bumper, I assume the painted ones are similiar.

Where exactly are the bolts? Do I have to remove anything to get to them?

Lay on your back and slide under the front bumper, if you're fat you'll need a jack. Look up and forward and you'll see the bolts that are holding the bumper on.

Ok, I have the bumper straight, but because they had to put a spacer in to fill the gap between the plastic painted trip and the chrome bumper, the bumper is pushed forward. Anyone seen this?

look along the front of the truck it might be the plastic that is off, there are a half million clips that hold all that plastic together. when i took my bumpers off to have line-x'ed when i went to put them back on not only was the bumper(s) a b!@$# to put back the clips where a pain. some snaped easy some needed a push. SO, check to make sure all clips are seated properly. what i did since i was by myself was got a jack and a piece of wood and jacked the corner that needed adjusted, up, measured and tightened down. hope this helps.
