Has anyone put a true dual exhaust system on a 2010 2500HD 5.7 Megacab? I'm getting all kinds of unbelievable info on this. Basically, I'm hearing that the stock exhaust system is so finely tuned that taking out the single (2 in, 1 out) muffler and putting two single mufflers in will potentially rob performance from the vehicle. That just goes against all my years of experience. Granted, I'm no exhaust engineer...but it just seems counterintuitive that putting two high performance mufflers in will make the truck perform worse. That said...there isn't a single exhaust kit manufacturer out there that has a kit for my configuration! Appreciate any and all input guys...
