Nice man, what type of paint did you use and where did you get it? I would like to do mine as well. Sets it apart from the crowd.

its dupont caliper paint, it only comes in certain colors (blue. red, and grey is all i saw) and you should be able to pick it up at any of your local auto part stores.

the picture does not do it justice, it looks great!

I suppose you took the wheels off first but did you remove the calipers in order to clean them and them paint them? Did you have to wire brush and prime them first?

Not to be picky, but that doesn't answer his question...

It is best to remove the calipers, at the very least remove from the rotor and leave the line attached. Then just support it with a bucket or something to not put stress on the line and of course remove the pads.

I will do this over the summer. I plan to replace my dusty brake pads with ceramics.

I did not remove the rims, i just painted very carefully. pluss i have 22 inch rims with wide gaps, easy to get my hand in there. i did not use a wire brush but did use a tooth brush to clean it with caliper cleaner. If you buy the kit, it will come with instructions
