Hey all,
I've got a 2010 QC that has the factory RES with satellite but no Uconnect. I'm ugrading to an RER head, Lockpick, front and rear camera, and Mic. I have a few questions for anyone who has experience.

1. Do I still need to have the vehicle Starscanned?
2. If I do, should I do that BEFORE I install the Lockpick?
3. What happens to my current satellite subscription?

If you have a current sat subscription it is transferable to your new radio. I put a radio in my truck almost a year ago and the sat is still working, they keep calling me to resign cuz my old radio must have run out since I got the truck in March last year. If you are getting a lockpick you can avoid the trip to the dealer to make the uconnect that is with the RER radio already you will need a microphone, or the mirror with the mics and also a specialty wire harness.
