Default small rust spots

So since it's a beautiful day in New England I thought I would clean my truck completely since winter is done...hopefully. After washing and looking closely I have very tiny rust spots/specs in tons of places. These spots are even to small to take a clear picture of. Most of it is where the wheels would kick up stones and such but I have a few in odd places as well. I have never seen this before and now i think dodge does a crappy paint job. Has this happened to anyone else? and I'm assuming if I wanted this fixed it would be out of my pocket and not covered under the warranty......

Talked about many times.

It is particles on the surface of your truck rusting, not your truck. Could be rail dust or other metallic items.

A good clean and a good wax/cleaner will do the trick. Hard cases polishing compound or clay bar.

Washing your truck weekly in that environment and keeping a good wax job on it in the winter will prevent. I had none of this on mine.

I think these trucks are susceptible to this as it seems a lot of water/salt/debris seems to fly up on the side of the truck rather than under and in the wheel wells.

i noticed the paint job as well, you can almost tell how the truck was painted.. the tiny spots of rust you can knock those off with clay as for the paint i'm just as dissapointed.
