Default Exhaust suggestions

hey guys i am new to the forum and I just recently purchased a 2010 dodge ram sport slt. So far I am really enjoyin this truck it is a definite upgrade from my previous 96 dodge ram which was a really good truck I had glasspack exhaust on that one and it sounded very good. Im looking to make my new truck somewhat louder than what it is now with the stock dual exhaust and would like some opinions before i make a decision. i also dont want to mess anything up with the warranty or anything like that. any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

as long as you dont mess with anything before the cats, your warranty will be fine. as far as what to do, you will get all sorts of input from various people on here. it will mainly depend on what you like. check out youtube for some ideas. as far as me, i put on a Flowmaster Super 40, removed the resonators, and replaced the crappy short tips with some longer ones. they shouldnt charge you for the resonator removal since you are putting on the longer tips anyway. but shop around.

Go with a mufflex or magnaflow, if not loud enough, then remove the resonators. Whatever you change on the exhaust, dodge will know longer cover that part that was replaced, by the way borla covers there products for a million miles.

I appreciate the input guys. Do local exhaust shops carry the mufflex or magnaflow exhaust or do i have to order them online? Lancelanz your truck sounds good I like the tone thx for postin the vid. Did you just replace the stock exhaust that came with the truck and did you leave the resonators on there?
