Now I know different tire brands run different sizes no matter what is saying it is, but my 285/45/22 MAYBE a 31 1/2 on a good day. (truthfully it looked like 31.3) so you are gonna tell me a 265/70/17 is 31.7 inches tall..... i think not. (and yes, that is the stock tire found on a 2008 dodge ram with 17 inch rims)

Well mine has 265/70/17 tires on it. Goodyear ATS. If you look at the specs on their site, they measure it as 31.9". If you like I can take a picture with a tape measure on the tire in case you don't think that goodyear knows the specs on their tires.

If by "different opinions" you mean you were wrong and he was right, then yeah. Totally agree.

sorry, not was meant, but nice try.

What was meant is that every tire brands tire size is different than what they say. One says 33 inch when its a 32 inch, yet another could actually be 34 inch. understand?

probably not.....
