Really....do we need to spend that much on oil for 15 HP, I think the oil that comes out of the hose at the dealer is fine for me and my warranty since that is what they recommend. Runs fine, doesn't burn, so far no leaks but Ihavent been under there to see if any small ones that get burned before they get a chance to drip.
I suppose there are differences in oils but too much money for 15 HP JMHO.
Good luck...........I am just trying since Thursday and today is Saturday to get this dam garage to fix an oil leak on my daughters 89 Comanche. Man if it was summer....I could get under there but the cold makes me so stiff my arms cant function...part of the paraplegic life for me. Besides got my 72 chevy up on jack stands waiting to fix tierods.

What a stupid test, not suprising that it seems to have been done by Amsoil. What is the point of a test that is comparing the results of random weights and viscocities of oil?

Oil test conducted by Amsoil and won by Amsoil. I am SHOCKED.

I was looking for a different oil to run in my motorcycle, and called the local Amsoil dealer. Got a guy here in town, who spent the first 15 minutes explaining how everything but Amsoil "sucked," and how I should spend $12/quart for Amsoil. He didn't have the oil in stock, and it would be two weeks before he got it though. And I'd need to pay extra for shipping, because he "wasn't going to eat the freight."

No disrespect to Amsoil or their dealer network (I'm sure there are some on this board), but I like being able to walk into Napa and walk out with a case of Mobil 1 for ~half the cost.

That article looks pretty old and I know oil companies have changed their formulas since it was published. Don't believe everything you read, especially on the internet.
