i stopped by my local dealer because i saw a roxbox on one of em...i need that thing...

so i asked them for a price just to order one...$4000

hmmm... i could sell one camera lens and some leftover parts i have laying around like my factory sub, speed scene grille inserts and i would also have to sell my bedrug and bed cover because they wouldnt fit the new bed... no problem there though.

with all those sold i could prolly be real close to the $4000

but i would lose out on my cool painted tail gate...

having that rambox would really help with hauling my photography stuff around and other items.

I could only dream of finding someone who would want my bed, bedrug & cover + cash for their rambox... sigh...

 

Rambox sides are $900 each. You can remove your bed sides and have them put on at the body shop of your choice.

 

actually someone in another forum found me an entire bed for $1400 and the side boxes are only $134 a piece.

You do realize, that is ONLY the lid for $134.... the box itself is $730.... + lid and all the other little parts. That will add up FAST!

And alot of the bits are listed as N/A, so you better have a second source for parts.

It isn't a particularly cheap mod, but you can do it for half the costs with not going to the dealers.

edit: this website- http://www.makeitdodgeparts.com/ifrm_browse.php is showing the entire assembly for $888 but they have less of a discount, I'm sure you could knock a couple hundred off using the other website, if you email them I'm sure they'd get you the price for the whole assembly

 

well no matter the ad dup cost.. is cheaper than the dealer 4 grand cost

 

Sorry, yeah, it is 489, not 730... that was MSRP. 2 parts are listed as N/A.... not sure if you need them or not though. Deffinately not cheap, but cool for sure. The thing I would hate is not having factory paint... even though lots complain about the OEM paint job, factory paint just holds up so much better.

 

yeah.. but i was thinking of having my whole truck repainted anyway... not gonna say ill do it soon.. but i have it on the list of future upgrades

 

do the 6.5 and the 5.7 have different size tailgates?
looks like mopardiscountparts.com has the sides for $743 each w/ the ramboxes (already color coded).
